Berlinale 2016 – Quote of the Day #3: Temuera Morrison for Mahana (out of competition)
Mahana (The Patriarch) a film by Lee Tamahori about two Maori families making a living shearing sheep on the esat cost of New-Zeland. The two clans are bitter ennemies and in a scene one of the family make the Haka. At the press conference, Temuera Morrison (who is playing the Patriarch) decided to show us how they make the Haka and ask his young co-star of the film – Akuhata Keefe to do it with him. Before he explained what Haka means
HA is for breathhhhhhhh and KA for light, energy!
