Berlinale 2013 – Quote of the Day: Georges Sluizer

At this moment, on the 14th february, the billionaires of the insurances who own the footage of my film didn’t sign an agreement with my production company to release the film. Those people don’t care about anything but money.

Georges Sluizer, director and producer of Dark Blood: the film couldn’t be finished in 1993 because of the death of River Phoenix 10 days before ending of the shooting and the insurance did take the footage. Now 20 years after the film is eventually made… hopefully after the success of the film in the Berlinale (out of competition) an agreement will be found!
