During the press conference of The Isle of Dogs (film review in French), the animated film that opened the 68th Berlinale, a journalist asked Wes Anderson: “How did you assemble such a great group of voices and for Bill Murray who has been in a lot of your films, how was it to be just a voice?”
Wes Anderson answered:
Most of the actors here are people who I either have worked with before or loved for years (…). The thing is that they couldn’t say that they are unavailable: we can do it at anytime (…), there is just no excuse. (…).
And Bill Murray added:
Being a voice with this group is a little bit like being in “We Are the World” video!
